Job Ref 20107181_1603711494
Description

Sage 200 Support Consultant, home based anywhere in the UK with no requirement to visit the offices of this well-established Sage partner. They focus solely on Sage 200, plus a variety of add-ons including Draycir Spindle, Sicon WAP, Sicon Warehousing & Bar Coding, Sicon Manufacturing, Sicon Service Manager, Sage Construct etc.

Not only is the role completely home based (Bracknell is not relevant, just a marker point), and they are also very flexible in terms of the number of hours you work per week, and the core times of work can be adjusted to fit your schedule and home life. They will pay up to £45k for a Sage 200 Support Consultant with some Sicon add-on product experience.

Currently they support over 225 Sage 200 clients. These customers are in all sorts of business areas, including distributors, construction, manufacturers, service industries, and the restaurant sector.

Since March they have been busier than ever and this role has come about as they need an additional Application Support Consultant to cope with this extra work. The support team was a little lean and they were going to recruit at the beginning of the pandemic, but now it has become urgent.

They want to recruit someone with strong hands on Sage 200 application support covering Sage 200 plus Sicon add-ons (and Draycir Spindle would be a bonus). The Sicon add-on products are probably the most important as they are being used by more and more clients, so you will get many support requests in this area. And Sicon Manufacturing would be really useful, or if you have Sage Manufacturing experience, they would cross train you pretty easily. Other useful Sicon products would be WAP, job costing, and / or bar coding.

Key skills that they would like to see from you:

  • Solid Sage 200 Support expertise
  • Knowledge of Sicon add-on products
  • Sicon manufacturing, Sicon job costing, Sicon barcoding, Sicon WAP would all be snapped up
  • Draycir Spindle
  • Sage Construct
  • Motivated and organised working from home
  • Great with clients, able to engage and retain them
  • You enjoy talking to people and problem solving

So this is a fully home based Sage 200 support role, but it will also include some web based training for clients, and coordinating with the client facing Sage 200 implementation consultants regarding training requirements. Your work hours can be flexible, and it could possibly be a part-time position.

Contact Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing for this and many more Sage 200, Sage X3, and ERP roles in Support, Implementation, Sales & Account Management and Project Management.
