Description

Data Analyst / Data Specialist / MI Analyst / Reporting Consultant to work for an excellent ERP software consulting firm based south of Kidderminster. This is a very successful software company that has grown to over 200 staff, where you can really make your mark and play an integral role in data migration, data reporting and data analysis. Salary to £34k plus private healthcare and 5 weeks' holiday.

If you love working with data, and are highly accuratewith brilliant attention to detail, this could be a perfect job for you.

This innovative company are looking for a Data Specialist, Data Reporting Consultant, Data Analyst, SQL Analyst, MI Analyst (your job title doesn't matter) with good knowledge of relational databases, MS Excel, VBA, SQL and / or PostgreSQL, and Microsoft Access for a role which will be office based near Kidderminster and Stourport, when lockdown allows. This is a diverse job with a long established private company who produce and develop their own business management / ERP product which encompasses ERP, CRM, Distribution, and Wholesale, Warehousing, Business Intelligence and web solutions.

The really interesting thing here, is that they have recently re-developed the software and it is now a fully browser based, intuitive, user friendly, all singing and dancing, cloud based solution. They are migrating a lot of their clients to the new software, plus it is selling very well, so there is a lot of data investigation and migration work to be done for customers with previous legacy ERP or accounting software. Your job is to do the data investigation, interrogation, and scripting and to ensure their data is migrated successfully and delivered accurately.

So this will involve migration requirements, data conversion from legacy systems to their SQL based product, writing statements of works, data reporting, creating MS Access reports to client specifications, data investigation work and providing technical assistance to their support team.

Your background:

  • Relational databases
  • MS Access
  • VBA (preferably to macro)
  • MS Excel
  • SQL and or PostgreSQL skills for writing views and stored procedures
  • Data conversion / data migration / data analysis / data manipulation
  • MS Access report writing
  • Any added knowledge of ERP / Business Application / Merchants' software is a bonus
  • Personable, motivated, friendly and a real team player
  • A love of all things data

You will join a team of a dozen people made up of data analysts, project managers, implementation consultants and the consulting manager, and will work closely with them.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive company with a state of the art re-developed ERP solution and a friendly, professional team, who have seen consistent growth over the past 35 years and have superb employee retention (everyone loves working here). You need to live within a 45 -60 minute commute (maximum) of the Kidderminster area, as this is an office based role. Ideally you will live within 30-40 minutes' drive. A driving license and car are essential as they are not close to public transport facilities.

If this looks interesting, and you have a passion for all things data, please contact Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing.
