- Description
We are looking for a SAP Business One Consultant with existing SAP B1 Implementation skills gained with a software consultancy or reseller, or with internal SAP Business One implementation experience at an end user site. You will have a track record of ERP implementation and would be happy with a fairly office centric environment, either full time based in the office and out on client site, or working from a day or two per week. So realistically, you need to be commutable to Manchester. Salary to £50k + car allowance.
This business grew 33% in 2019 through acquisition, and in 2020 they have continued to do plenty of SAP Business One implementation projects through the pandemic, and have had a very successful year, so the company is still strong and they have a full project workload moving forward into 2021. They offer lots of progression and opportunities to their SAP Business One Consultants, and this is a lively, busy and fun place to work.
Your role will be to help their clients to get the most out of their SAP Business One investment and during the implementation phase of the project, tailor the SAP B1 out-of-the-box solution to closely fit your clients' needs. Just as important is the need to educate the users and help your clients to adapt their business processes to mirror the SAP Business One system.
It is important to be able to manage the client, in terms of requirements and business processes and expectations. Every client thinks their business is unique and as an Implementation Consultant you need to help steer them into as much standard functionality as possible and reduce the amount of bespoke work. This means that you will need to help them see the benefits of changing the internal business process.
You will work with a young team of SAP Business One Consultants on a range of modules including manufacturing, finance, distribution, and warehousing.
Their clients are predominately based in the North West of England and they are well located to provide cost effective support and quality implementations for small and medium sized companies in the Manchester area and throughout the North West, and Midlands regions. Their customers are in a wide range of industries including automotive, chemical distribution, engineering, fuel distribution, metal fabrication, leisure, retail, textiles, timber and general wholesale.
As a SAP Business One Consultant here you will be part of a team Project Managers and Consultants, working alongside the Pre-Sales people, participating in meetings, managing your clients' expectations and building good relationships with the stakeholders.
You will be competent in the full ERP software implementation life cycle from looking at requirements and business processes, through configuration and set up, data migration, final testing, go-live and troubleshooting, and will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. Hopefully you will be someone with plenty of initiative who can make a real contribution to the ongoing success of this SAP Business One practice.
If you have solid ERP understanding and good SAP Business One implementation and functional skills, we highly recommend a move to this busy, leading reseller. To find out more, contact Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing.
