Do you have experience selling application software into SME's? Keen to work with high ticket solutions? Hungry for the win and success?
This software reseller has an incredibly successful business hosting ERP cloud solutions and selling them to SME's in the UK. They are the UK provider of 2 cloud ERP software products and are looking to grow their client base by hiring an additional new business development Sales Executive. Base salary to £36k, OTE £70 - 150k uncapped, home based, but ideally within 2 hours drive of the Midlands.
You will be targeting customers with a turnover of £1m to £30m and qualifying the ones that have a need for a new ERP solution, a budget for a new ERP solution, and proven desire to push ahead with their purchase. You will need to demonstrate experience of identifying prospects, building relationships and closing opportunities.
They are a big user of Hubspot and have a complex lead generation and marketing mix to help generate leads for you. This ERP sales role is to use those generated leads and also create email campaigns to generate your own leads, and to cold call clients and take them through the whole sales cycle from cradle to grave.
You will manage the whole sales process from start to finish. And there is a lot of opportunity for you to be creative, work your own way, using your own methods and manage your own time. This is an environment of "low touch sales management" so you will have a lot of freedom to choose your own path.
You will be expected to generate a deal in your first 6 months and then produce one new deal per quarter as a minimum. Ideally more of course! The pay structure is stacked for over achievement and suits high performers who are hungry for commission.
Who are you?
- Proven business developer selling application software such as ERP, Business Intelligence, Finance software, DMS, Property Management solutions, Tax software, Field Service, Construction software, Workforce Management solutions, FinTech, Pensions software or similar
- You have sold software solutions, licenses, professional services, and support contracts
- Commercially savvy, with keen interest in businesses and how they operate
- Experienced in developing sales proposals and materials
- Naturally persuasive and articulate
- Motivated, hungry, sales winner
- Hunter, gatherer
- Adept at closing
- Intelligent, personable, ambitious
There are a variety of commission systems in place that will allow you to earn very well, whether you are a more junior level sales executive looking to move to big ticket solutions, a mid-tier sales person, or a highly experienced ERP Sales Executive. At the very junior end the first target starts at £100k margin and you start earning from the very beginning, and at the top end you could be achieving £150k - they keep the basic salary low, as they believe all true sales people are motivated and driven by selling.
This year they are adding another ERP solution to their portfolio, and this product can earn great margins, for instance you can do £100k in licenses alone on a single deal.
