- Description
Marketing Manager / Head of Marketing for a privately owned software consultancy that sells and implements a versatile, integrated, intuitive and highly functional ERP software solution mainly into the distribution, supply chain, finance and manufacturing sectors. Head office is located just to the North East of Birmingham, but you can be based from home at least 50% of the time, they are very flexible as to whether you prefer home or office based work.
They are now looking for a talented and creative Marketing Manager with full mix experience, strong digital marketing, and expertise with marketing automation systems such as HubSpot, Marketo or Pardot, to own their branding and marketing and move the company forward to the next level. Reporting in to the Sales Director and working closely with the sales people, you will drive site traffic and landing pages and convert them to new leads, and turn these leads into new customers.
Responsibilities will include line management of the tele-marketing and marketing team and running the marketing budget. You will be experienced in ensuring best practices in content, brand management and lead gen. To £45k plus generous benefits.
You will be a data driven marketer with the ability to attract traffic to their site and nurture and convert that traffic into leads for the sales team. A natural superstar, you should be able to write and produce downloadable content and regular blogs to expand the digital footprint and identify and execute new opportunities to improve the company's content search rank.
You will manage multiple email campaigns, including template designs, calls-to-action, and content used in email sends, measure results and optimise the lead nurturing workflows for these segments to convert leads into customers and manage on-page and off-page SEO to improve organic search engine performance. You will also build and manage rich content that attracts a qualified audience including blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, eBooks, reports, webinars, infographics and more, and write regular blogs to attract site visitors through search, social media, and email subscribers.
Your background:
- A degree in Marketing or Marketing qualifications such as CIM or Digital Marketing Diploma, or QBE
- Previous B2B marketing experience (experience of working in the application software area would be a big bonus)
- Solid experience of marketing automation systems such as HubSpot, Eloqua, Teradata, Marketo, Silverpop, Pardot or similar and integrating these with other technologies
- Strong email marketing skills, developing & tracking email campaigns to increase email campaign success
- Automation and blogging experience to generate traffic, convert visitors and page landings into leads and expand the business's digital footprint
- Content Management with the ability to build product pages and optimise conversion paths, and produce eBooks, case studies, whitepapers and reports
- Knowledge of web analytics software, keyword tools and data-driven SEO analysis and optimisation
- Organising webinars and events
- A brilliant communicator and a creative thinker
- Experience of HTML / CSS or Adobe Creative Suite would be a bonus
