Sage 200 Support & Sicon - remote

We need a competent, organised Application Support Consultant / Support Analyst with decent experience of Sage 200 and knowledge of some of the Sicon add-ons such as Sicon Manufacturing, Distribution, WAP, DMS, Bar Coding or Shop Floor Data. The job can be based from home, but you would have to go into the head office in the Midlands a couple of times a month. Salary to £35k plus a generous bonus scheme that kicks in after 6 months.

You will have to spend a few days in their offices in the Midlands when you first start. Nottingham is not relevant, you can live anywhere as long as you are happy to travel to their Midlands office every couple of weeks. There will also be some on site visits to clients to help with project hand overs and for training purposes.

This is a perfectly formed and privately owned Sage 200 reseller with a 30 year track record and around 20 staff, using Sage Cloud and on premise solutions. The majority are involved with Sage 200 Commercials, Sage 200 Financials, Bill of Materials, Manufacturing and many of the Sicon, Draycir and Eureka add-ons.

You will be an experienced Application Support Consultant / Support Analyst with at least 12 months Sage 200 experience, who is used to remote working and the challenges of a home-based application support role and can stay focused and motivated. The job will be responding to emails and phone calls to log the problems, finding solutions, bug fixing, testing, and keeping your clients informed of the progress of their case. You will need to be good at planning, prioritising and managing your time to ensure SLA's are met and problems are thoroughly investigated and escalated where necessary.

This is a quality environment where you will have time to really understand the issues and fix stuff properly. Offering high level support to the clients and maintaining long term good relationships is the key to doing this job well.

They often pick up Sage 200 clients who are unhappy with their resellers and get in touch with them through recommendations. They are very cloud centric and abreast of technology
