They are very open minded as to how much experience you have if you are keen to learn and you put the client first.
Your most important personal skills would be a real desire to help customers and improve their knowledge of the software, you are a good team player, you have a sense of humour, a genuine interest in business and what your customers do and what processes they have, tou are passionate about IT and you are keen to learn and increase your skillset.
Client support queries come in by phone and via the online portal which you also use to log and track your support cases. The enquiries are mostly focused on the ERP solution but you will also get involved in issues like SQL Server databases, webservers, and firewalls etc., so there is a nice opportunity here to learn about SQL views, stored procedures and SQL queries. Thy have a full time technical support team who handle the complex stuff; if you already have some SQL skills, so much the better.
You will be joining the team of 9 application support consultants work with an additional 3 people in the technical services team; these people provide fantastic customer support to the client base of over 300 clients. The clients' users work across all areas of business including warehousing, distribution, accounts, sales, manufacturing, and ecommerce. So you will be doing something different every day.
You will learn ERP in-depth including finance, manufacturing, distribution, Ecommerce and so on and will work with an upbeat, fun team of people. The support manager is great to work for, always fair, and not too pressurised! People in the team get promoted rapidly, so the prospects are excellent.
