- Description
Implementation Consultant with ERP and Manufacturing / Distribution experience and SQL Server plus finance knowledge to trial balance and P&L. This is a Professional Services Consulting role working for a multiple award winning business and one of the UK's fastest growing software companies on cloud and on-premise ERP software projects in a niche market. Wide salary range from £40 - 50k (dependant on level of consulting experience) plus a £6k car allowance (and all fuel), health insurance and pension.
This is a full life cycle consulting role, which will involve 2 - 4 days travel per week to client sites, working from home, and one day a week at head office per fortnight. The job will involve all aspects of ERP / Accounting software implementation from requirements to needs analysis, solution design and GAP analysis, through software installation and configuration, data migration, UAT and end user training.
They are looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic consultant who is great with clients, and puts customer service first. Ideally you will be familiar with proven implementation methodologies such as Surestep, Prince 2 or similar and will have experience of SQL Server (2005 upwards) queries and updates and a real understanding of business processes.
ERP software implementation skills are vital and manufacturing and / or distribution or engineering experience is essential in order to understand the clients' business and requirements. Your knowledge will lie in the areas of warehousing, order processing, forecasting, stock control, production control, distribution etc and you should also have finance skills - understanding P&L, trial balance and balance sheets.
You are someone who works well under pressure, has good functional consulting skills, build strong relationships with your clients, has a calm approach and a confident personality.
