- Description
A thriving ERP solutions company have a busy schedule of new projects and a full order book, which means they need an additional Implementation Consultant on board. They are happy to hire a more junior level Consultant who has worked on some implementation projects, understands the business processes & has some ERP, or MRP experience and can grow into a fully experienced ERP Consultant with time. So they are looking at £35-40k or up to £45k for a more experienced ERP implementer. The car allowance is very generous at over £8k per annum.
You will join the support team for a month or possibly 2, whilst you learn their ERP product thoroughly, then once you are up and running you will work on implementation projects from start to finish and be your own project manager. They are moving to a business model of 2 Consultants on each project with each Consultant focused on a given set of modules. As they already have enough accounting focused Consultants, they would like to hire someone now who has experience in the distribution, manufacturing, warehousing or supply chain aspects of ERP software.
They have a mentoring, shadowing and training program for their staff. Plus in this role you will work with their Consulting Director who has a brilliant understanding of the software implementation process and how to get projects working well. He will be your main mentor and he is a really good person to sit alongside.
This is an environment where you will take on more and more responsibility and grow your consulting experience constantly; you will learn about WMS, Ecommerce, mobile and hand-held technology, distribution, manufacturing, supply chain and accounts and many other modules that the clients need. So this is a great chance to grow your ERP consulting career.
They would ideally like you to be within an hour or two's drive of the central Midlands, as most of their client companies are Midlands based. You can be based from home, with some on-site work, and 1 to 2 days a month in the office.
You are someone who works well under pressure, has some functional and business process skills, is very personable and builds good relationships, has a calm approach and is happiest in a small to mid-sized software consultancy. They have around 40 people at the moment, so everyone counts and contributes.
This busy software company has built a great business and has some excellent clients on board; they are professional and profitable and run by a super management team. Their solutions are fully scalable, built on .Net and SQL Server, and are constantly being developed and upgraded to keep pace with changing technology.
You will have a great career here. Get in touch with Jake or Carolyn at Ambis.
