- Description
Implementation Consultant job for someone who has worked in a client facing role for a software reseller or software vendor, is used to juggling a number of implementation projects at the same times, and has presence in front of customers.
You need at least 3 years in a software implementation position, working with accounting software, e-procurement, P2P, or e-Invoicing solutions, and a reasonable amount of accounts knowledge covering areas like accounts payable, purchase ledger and double entry bookkeeping. £45-60k + £5k car allowance, plus benefits. You can work remotely anywhere in the UK or from their Yorkshire offices and will be happy travelling to customer sites UK wide where necessary.
The right person will be able to deftly handle the full implementation life cycle of on premise and cloud invoicing solutions, accounts payable, e-invoicing, employee expenses, procurement and P2P software solutions. This will cover workshops with stakeholders at client sites, getting the requirements and quickly establishing their needs, liaising with the developers, test, configuration and implementation, to user training and post go-live hand holding, maintaining positive relationships with all those involved.
Who you are:
- 3 years+ implementing software for a software reseller or author
- Knowledge of accounting - accounts payable, invoicing, purchase ledger, bookkeeping, P2P etc.
- Implemented accounts, procurement, or P2P software such as Sage 200, Access Dimensions, Coda, PS Financials, Bottomline, Dynamics NAV or GP, Xero, SAP Business One, Kerridge, Pinewood, OrderWise, Infor, Exact, SunSystems, Maconomy, or similar
- Confident, good with clients, articulate, friendly, personable, a team person, quick to learn, inquisitive, and calm when under pressure
- You can take ownership of your projects and follow implementation methods
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server, Crystal reports, or similar reporting, cloud solutions and / or BI are all very useful
