- Description
ERP Sales Executive to generate new business for a disruptive ERP reseller and channel partner, selling a best of breed solution on premise and in the cloud to SME's. £45-60k base with double OTE and car allowance. The job is remote, you can live anywhere in the UK and there will be travel to client sites where you feel it's necessary, and an office day once a month or so.
To be successful here you will have a track record of the complete sales cycle from taking the leads, through discovery, proposals, quotes and demos, to closing mid-range ERP deals, and ideally you have sold into manufacturing companies. You will be familiar with a long deal lifecycle of 3-12 months and have the mental fortitude to get through that process. You are comfortable also selling software, upgrades, services, consulting and add on services to clients, and you are hungry, driven and enthusiastic with a consultative sales approach.
They currently have more than 60 existing ERP customers who they account manage, service and support. They are very focused on new business sales of their ERP solution, and they are targeting specialist manufacturing markets. The reason for this is that the ERP solution has stunning functionality in process manufacturing, and it is hugely scalable, so any expanding manufacturing company can get started on the journey and then stick with the solution forever.
The author and vendor, have a large sales and consulting team but they focus on targeting large deals of around £1 million+; so this channel partner compliments them by focusing on the smaller SME sector with deals of around £250k.
This role is generating new business and working with:
- The telesales team (external)
- Great marketing team
- Leads you get direct from the vendor
Building a relationship with the ERP vendor is critical and part of your job will be nurturing relationships, and discussing campaigns with them.
You will work alongside the CEO; he is an incredibly bright guy, highly entrepreneurial and switched on, and with the head of sales who has a good grasp of the ERP solution and the ecosystem.
The role is home based (Derby is not relevant) with occasional visits to the office, and of course as much travel to see clients as you think is needed.
Growth plans are ambitious, and they offer excellent benefits and an environment that will challenge, inspire and develop you. Contact Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg.
