- Description
Microsoft D365 Business Central /Dynamics NAV Support Consultant role; this is to join a busy Microsoft Gold Partner, established for over 15 years, who sell ERP business solutions powered by Dynamics Business Central/ NAV and Office 365, both on premise and in the cloud. They are the leading UK Microsoft Dynamics Partner offering ERP solutions in their very specialist niche market.
Experience of supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and / or Dynamics NAV is essential, as they want someone who can hit the ground running. Salary to £40k negotiable.
There is plenty of flexibility for home working but they would like you to be in the office near Stafford in the early stages to get to know everyone, and you would probably need to be in the office a couple of times a month. You can be full time office based if you prefer.
They are looking for an enthusiastic, communicative, bright candidate who builds good relationships with customers (they currently have over 100 Dynamics NAV / BC clients) and who is capable of troubleshooting to a high standard, diagnosing & debugging the software and doing basic mods. Any experience of LS NAV Retail, JET reports, or Zetadocs would be beneficial as would SQL querying and reporting.
Background needed for this role:
- 2 years + Application Support experience working with Dynamics NAV and / or D365 Business Central
- Some knowledge of the finance side would be very beneficial (accounts, ledgers, double entry bookkeeping) or an accounts qualification such as AAT
- Really good communication skills, you will be talking to clients daily on the phone and liaising with the developers and implementation consultants
- You are an easy fit for a busy, lively team, and can take the pressure when the heat is on
- Great problem solver, you leave no stone unturned to find a solution
- Sympathetic when dealing with non-technical people who don't understand the software
- Knowledge of any of these: SQL, LS NAV Retail, JET reports, or Zetadocs would be a bonus
- Accustomed to documenting your cases thoroughly to add to the knowledge base, and product info
- You are not a clock watcher and put the extra in when required
