ERP Application Support, end user import business

This 400 strong Import and Distribution Company run ERP for manufacturing, distribution and finance. They are growing, having just had a year to beat all records, and they are expecting this financial year to be even better. They have 8 in their IT department currently and are planning on 4 new hires to cope with the growth.

This Application Support role is to work on their ERP and WMS solutions which are currently Sage X3 and JDA Dispatcher. You will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks including:

• ERP Application Support
• Getting the requirements from the users and stakeholders
• Doing the business analysis
• Testing modifications and software upgrades
• Writing SQL queries, and learning reports and scripting

They are looking for someone with anything over 18 months ERP application support experience and they are happy to train you in SQL, JDA Dispatcher and Sage X3. You know enough about business and software to understand how an order is processed through an ERP solution and how the order then creates a workflow through to the warehouse, and then sends it to the customer.

They are paying up to £42k but they would be happy to hire someone early in their career and train them up, so maybe at the £25 - £35k mark - they are very open minded and happy to hire someone very experienced, or to take on an ambitious person with 18 months ERP who is very keen to learn.
