- Description
New business Software Sales Executive wanted for a 25 year old software consultancy selling their own fully integrated ERP solution with significant strengths in manufacturing and the merchant sector. They have a proven track record of steady, profitable growth, over 45 staff, 2 UK offices and a turnover of £3.5 million +.
They are looking for a new business sales star for their Southern Wales and South West England territory, so this is a work from home role working with south west clients. To £36k basic + company car, phone and laptop, discounts on leisure and goods, and an OTE of £65-90k. You would have a salary review after 6 months.
They sell a very successful ERP solution to the mid-market, they do about 35 new implementation projects every year, so they are very busy, very successful and profitable. Their ERP software is specifically designed to fulfil the changing requirements of merchant, trade counter, wholesale, warehouse, manufacturing, stockist and distribution environments, including sales order processing, stock control, invoicing, sales, and purchase and nominal ledgers.
So the job would suit a hardworking, motivated, and tenacious sales person with a background selling ERP solutions or something very similar, such as accounting, WMS, manufacturing, trade counter or field service management software. You will be responsible for generating new business in one of their largest geographical territories, including cold calling, following up leads working with the marketing team, getting to grips with what the client needs and presenting the software to fit, upselling existing clients, demonstrating the software and closing the deals.
It would be great if you had sold merchant software such as ECi Spruce, Sharp-AX, Anagram Encore, prof.IT Plus, Intact IQ, Orderwise, or Kerridge, or any standard ERP & accounting solution such as Sage 200, Pegasus Opera, Infor, Exchequer, Epicor, Pinewood, SAP Business One, Access Dimensions, Dynamics NAV / Business Central, Coda or anything similar.
Solid communication skills, drive, energy, listening skills, persuasion and a love of technology, are essential. You have lots of enthusiasm, you like building the relationship with your client, finding out their needs, and showing them how new software will reduce costs, give them great ROI and drive their business forward to growth and higher profit.
