The property market is booming, and several major software sales wins have created a big pipeline of projects here, which means our client needs to add a dedicated and ambitious Project Manager to their busy residential software team. They are looking for someone with experience driving and managing software implementation projects in the residential property software, or estate agency software sector. They focus on ensuring that their clients have a smooth journey when transitioning to new software, and so the Project Managers here are pivotal to expretly running the teams, the budgets, and the timescales, and making each project as stress free and successful as possible.
This role is with an outstanding property software company who operate in the UK, and globally across 5 continents. They are one of the top world leaders in commercial and residential property management, facilities management and asset management software solutions for the real estate and property investment sectors and are an extraordinary success story. They will pay up to £80k plus bonus and profit share, private health, and travel and life insurance. The job is home based, or office based, it's up to you. You can work remotely anywhere in the UK.
But more than the package, this would be a real step up for a savvy Project Manager, who has been working with residential or estate agency software and is keen to work on large scale pan European implementation projects of 200 - 300 consulting days. Their flexible solutions cover property rentals, property maintenance, tenants, rent collections, real estate, property accounting, finance and billing, property listings, workspace management, asset management and facilities management. These are built with the latest technology; and the company continues to grow at the rate of 15% per year.
You are likely to be a Project Manager working with software such as Argus, Vebra, Reapit, Alto, Rex, DezRez, Jupiz, Estates It, Domus, Coyote, Rentman, MRI Horizon (was Qube), Trace or any similar solution.
You are:
- A client facing project manager who has managed external residential property software implementations and training projects
- Prince 2 qualified or similar project management qualifications
- You have accounting knowledge
- A brilliant planner, analytical, detail oriented and a problem solver
- Fluent English, a great communicator; ideally you speak another European language
- Able to manage multiple concurrent projects with flair and precision
- Proactive, positive, persuasive, perceptive and professional
- Calm under pressure, credible and adept at dealing with difficult people
You thrive in a busy environment and know how to balance keeping the clients' happy with maintaining company profitability. You are process driven, used to project lists, issue lists, risk registers, decision logs, and project plans, and running (and controlling) kick off meetings, managing the budget and handling escalation and problems. You are not flustered by challenge, you can handle awkward clients, you can negotiate, and influence and you know how get the best out of a team.
