- Description
We need several retail ERP Functional Consultants for permanent roles with a MS Dynamics 365 industry leader. This is a brilliant opportunity for people currently working with back-end retail ERP software (not epos), to cross train to Microsoft D365, widely considered the best solution for the large retailer sector.
You might be a client facing Functional Consultant, Application Consultant, Implementation Consultant or Professional Services Consultant. Or you could be a Business Analyst working with retail ERP, or an end user with solid experience of large-scale internal retail ERP Implementation projects, and domain experience in areas like merchandising, inventory optimisation, supply chain, logistics and warehousing. You will get the benefit of a 5-week boot camp to thoroughly learn Microsoft Dynamics 365, and you would initially shadow a D365 Consultant who will mentor you until you feel comfortable with your knowledge. So you won't ne thrown in at the deep end.
Salary range is £60k - £100k plus car allowance and a host of perks such as bonus scheme, private health, dental plan, mental & wellbeing plan, choice of schemes for discounted products and services, gift vouchers for your birthday and the day off, and flexible remote working.
These positions cover the full ERP software implementation lifecycle in the retail arena, dealing with a variety of elements such as supply chain management, stock optimisation, time to market, omni-channel, merchandising, logistics, warehousing, market interaction, e-commerce, multi-currency & multi-site accounting, store operations, inventory management, and customer demand and customer loyalty. You would be working with some of the UK's biggest retailers on meaty and complex projects involving the largest roll outs of MS Dynamics 365.
This software company has deep retail industry experience and is a true success story. Over 20 global offices, nearly 2,000 employees, 250 people in their UK office, and a 35-year track record of growth and innovation, have placed them at the top of their game in retail ERP.
Who are you?
A strong software implementation professional, confident, and skilled at the functional tasks - scoping clients' business requirements, looking at the business processes, running workshops, analysing gaps, looking at the "as is" and "to be", identifying and designing the solution and configuring it to fit. Whilst always aiming for a smooth implementation process for the client, you are not afraid to be a trail blazer when the situation calls for it and when you need to take them outside of their comfort zone and change their thought processes.
Skills:
- Excellent functional skills and 4 years + ERP software implementation experience
- Solid retail experience with at least two full implementations of ERP solutions into the sector. This could be fashion retail, footwear, food & beverage, e-commerce, or high street
- Strong knowledge of this market, covering areas such as merchandising, supply chain, inventory optimisation, distribution, warehousing, finance, and trade & logistics
- Business analysis, business requirements, business processes feature heavily in your daily life
- You are a knowledge base for colleagues and clients on implementations, whether that is industry knowledge of software solution expertise
- You work hard to thoroughly understand requirements, design a solution best suited to the client, and deliver what you promise
- An industry background in retail or Studies / Degree in retail is helpful
- International experience would also be useful as typically you will be working on implementations across 3 or 4 countries
- Confident, tenacious, a good planner, negotiator, and decision maker, with fluent English
A job here is more than a job; this is a career centric company, where you will have every opportunity to develop, you will be treated fairly, rewarded extremely well, and encouraged to continually learn and contribute. They have been recognised as one of the best global companies to work for and they have a flat structure. They are looking for multiple people so if you think this is for you, get in touch.
