- Description
This software consultancy has a great pipeline of work; they specialise in putting cloud ERP solutions into global multi-site manufacturing companies and were voted European partner of the year in 2021 and 2022 by the ERP vendor they work with.
They need a result driven, organised and professional Project Manager who has run and managed full lifecycle ERP software implementation projects, ideally into manufacturing and / or distribution businesses. You can be based anywhere in the UK, including Ireland, the role is fully remote, with some travel to client sites, but very little these days. The package is up to £70k for the right person, including a bonus.
As a Consultancy Project Manager, you will need to have worked in ERP consulting, managing software implementations and projects that include consultants, developers, client requirements, go-lives etc. A good understanding of ERP functionality is a must, and the ability to talk coherently to clients about their business needs in manufacturing, distribution, e-commerce, and finance.
Your skills cover managing multiple projects and consultant teams, managing resources, scoping projects, controlling schedules and budgets, managing risk, identifying milestones, and achieving deliverables.
Their clients are heavily involved in manufacturing across all types including engineer to order, process manufacturing, make to order, configure to order, make to stock, and process manufacturing across pharma and food. The projects are 100 days plus with some large projects of up to 600 days.
Recent projects here include rolling out their mid-range ERP solution to 12 sites in Ireland, the UK, and Australia on an Azure private cloud they commissioned for the client. This has the capacity for 140 concurrent users. Plus, a roll out of ERP to a Scandinavian company that make packaging, which included implementations in Ireland France, the Czech Republic, and the Netherlands. And a large ERP implementation into a milk, milk powder and cheese company. This gives an indication as to the scale and type of projects you would be managing here if you come on board.
You will have worked on a similar mid-tier ERP solution such as Sage X3, NetSuite, MS Dynamics Business Central / Dynamics NAV, or D365 F&O, SAP Business One, Acumatica, Epicor, Infor LN, Sage 1000, SyteLine, Priority ERP, Efacs, IFS or similar.
The company has seen year on year growth for nearly 25 years, and every implementation project has been 100% successful, with referenceable sites. The management team are superb people, easy to get on with, experts in ERP, and very approachable. To find out more contact Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing.
