- Description
Sage 50 role for a Software Trainer who is happy to do some application support when required. We are looking for a Sage 50 Training Consultant, who lives within an hour or so of the Birmingham area, and is happy running training courses internally within the company, and externally to customers.
The company has a number of offices so you will be required to visit other locations from time to time for internal training sessions. You will run Sage 50 workshops and training sessions by WebEx, as well as face to face at head office and at satellite offices, and occasionally out on client site. These sessions could be large or small groups or on a one to one basis. Salary to £35k plus benefits.
You will probably be a Sage 50 guru, having worked with the product for a long time, as a software trainer, implementation or support consultant. Or you might be a super user of Sage 50 or a bookkeeper with very strong Sage 50 experience, who has trained internal staff on the solution. This role offers a step up to becoming a full time Software Training Consultant, as well as the added variety of doing some Sage 50 support.
You will be writing material, organising and running training courses between 60 and 70% of the time, and the balance will be doing Sage 50 support. There are lots of other software solutions to get involved with too, including Sage 50 add-on products, Sage payroll & HR, and report writer, so plenty of variety here.
So you need to be passionate about Sage 50, you will have done some Sage 50 application support internally or externally, and you love training people, and recognise the need to get users to learn and absorb as much about the software as possible. You have a warm approach, you are a good listener with patience, you are confident, and can explain technical stuff in layman's terms.
You can write good course material and user manuals, your documentation is spot on, you are organised and you take pride in teaching people the nuts and bolts of Sage 50. You are a positive person by nature, cheerful and engaging, and you enjoy dealing with people from all walks of life.
If this sounds like you and you are eager to know more, then contact Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing.
