- Description
Sage 200 Support Analyst required for a busy privately owned Sage 200 and Sage 1000 reseller with a lot of new clients. The key here is energy and lots of enthusiasm, and keenness to learn, and advance your skill set. The role can be fully remote so you will need to be well organised and motivated if you are working from home.
You could be early on in your IT support career, with Sage 200 skills gained on a support desk or in a helpdesk role at an end user and hoping to move up into consultancy in the future. Or you may be a Sage 200 super user who has done some Sage administration, a bit of training for new users, and who is the in-house "go to Sage 200 person". Or you may be an experienced Sage 200 Support Consultant already working for a reseller, looking for a move to a role where you can be a mentor and leader.
The company has been in business for more than 25 years and are well established in the Midlands and the South as an outstanding reseller of Sage 200, Sage 1000, Sage 50, and Sage CRM solutions with a personal touch. The salary range is from £32k to £45k as they will look at such a wide variety of experience levels.
They need someone who has experience supporting the Sage 200 product and is patient, personable, a great problem solver, and is comfortable talking to clients and dealing with pressure when the tickets are piling up. In an ideal world, you will have also supported Sage 500 or Sage 1000 somewhere along the line or you have additional experience of Spindle, Credit Hound, Sicon Manufacturing or other Eureka or Sicon add-ons, or Power BI. Any of these would be a bonus as would SQL skills.
You will be supporting their clients who are using Sage 200 pro, Sage 200 Cloud and Sage 1000, plus a variety of add-on products, logging your cases in Sage CRM, and seeing the problems through to resolution, whilst adhering to SLA's, as well as testing fixes. You have a really good manner with customers, you are engaging, patient and calm, you love problem solving, and can talk to users who have little technical know-how, using easy to understand terminology. The role is home based (or you can work in the office if you prefer), you may have to spend some time at the office initially whilst you learn the ropes, if you are at a more junior level. This is a happy environment, with a good atmosphere, and it would suit an enthusiastic Sage 200 Support Analyst who wants to do their job well and work for a good consultancy who will invest heavily in your training and personal career advancement.
This is a super reseller to work for; they are small but perfectly formed, you need to perform but you will be treated as an adult and left to get on with your job, once you're familiar with the environment and systems. As they are small, you have the opportunity to shine and to grow into consultancy and implementation if you want to.
