- Description
Lead role for an ERP Implementation Project Manager with an award winning and innovative FTSE 250 design, manufacturing and supply company who are at the start of a major MS Dynamics 365 F&O project roll out across their group companies. It will begin with this first 400 strong business in Salisbury who have a £60 million turnover. This division manufactures high technology products for the aerospace, and high security sectors.
They need a strong ERP Project Manager, who is level-headed, has presence and kudos, and can plan and run software implementation projects and is happy working in the Salisbury area much of the time. Salary to £75,000 with performance bonus. The job is to be the internal ERP Project Manager for the group on a permanent basis, initially on this first 18-month MS Dynamics 365 ERP project, then working on their subsequent ERP roll outs throughout the UK.
What they need from you:
- A strong project management background working with ERP solutions is vital
- You are a skilled Project Manager and experienced with the ERP software implementation lifecycle and the manufacturing environment
- Your background includes dealing with or working for a large ERP consultancy firm
- You have led an ERP implementation project into a manufacturing company
- Strong business analysis and business process understanding
- Well rounded, with a holistic approach and happy to fight your corner
- You have the right to work and live in the UK
The distribution part of the business is outsourced to a specialist freight forwarding company, so this is working with finance and manufacturing which is generally made to order.
You will have the ability to push the user base and all the internal departments to get the best outcome from the new ERP software, and to seriously talk about their business processes and what can be changed.
You will need to ensure that the reporting is properly thought through as the project progresses, and that tools like PowerBI and SSRS are used effectively to deliver strong valuable reporting early in the Go Live.
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a significant FTSE 250 company at the start of a very large ERP project roll out, playing a pivotal role and having the MD as the key sponsor and the Group FD as a key player on the project. The projected go live date is November to December 2023. After that you will move on to the next group company, for the second roll out of D365.
A fabulous chance for a savvy project Manager to settle into a major company and get solid MS Dynamics D365 F&O experience.
