If you an enthusiastic Implementation Consultant with experience of successfully putting payroll and HCM solutions into client sites, or you have worked extensively in internal roles within companies, implementing payroll systems and you're technically savvy, then this is a terrific company to join. Money on offer is up to £55k plus a £6k car allowance and benefits.
This vibrant, well run software giant is looking for a self-driven, motivated, energetic, and ambitious Payroll and HCM Implementation Consultant with excellent verbal & written English, strong knowledge of payroll applications, (and HR and Time & Attendance would be useful too) who can confidently guide clients through the implementation process, scoping, running workshops, gathering requirements, configuring the solution, training the users, and successfully rolling it out.
This is a home-based role for an Implementation Consultant with strong payroll experience, who can build relationships, ask the right questions, follow processes, make decisions, write reports, keep good, detailed documentation, focus on the customer, and communicate flawlessly. You will have to go into the office a couple of times a month, so ideally, you'll live within a couple of hours drive of Maidenhead in Berkshire.
The job is with a leading global software provider in a niche market and their product is a specialist ERP solution with a very large payroll, HCM & T&A module. Nearly 250,000 people are paid every week through their payroll solution, and clients love the product. Your knowledge should include UK & Irish PAYE rules and legislation and you will have a good understanding of UK and Irish tax, NI deductions, pensions, pension auto enrolment, SSP, and SMP etc. T&A or HCM knowledge will be a bonus.
Your background:
- Strong full life cycle implementation experience with payroll software
- Functional and business process skills
- Knowledge of UK & Irish tax, PAYE, maternity and sick pay and NI and pensions
- CIPP certification advantageous
- Formula writing and query writing would be a bonus
- Time and Attendance knowledge also beneficial
- Excellent problem solving
- You think on your feet and stay calm under pressure
- You communicate easily and empathetically with non-technical people
- Motivated, enthusiastic, and outgoing
- Knowledge of the commercial construction, property or the housing industry would be useful
