- Description
Are you a Software Trainer, Training Consultant or Training specialist with software training skills? This role is remote, based anywhere south of Birmingham to the south coast or east or west coast.
This job would suit anyone who has a software training background who enjoys training online and who is excited about creating new video content, training manuals and handouts. They are looking for someone who is outgoing and personable, a creative thinker, enthusiastic and energetic, and gets a kick out of teaching people and building their confidence by giving them the knowledge of the product and enabling them to get the best out of it.
You need to have been a trainer (or an Implementation or Support Consultant who has trained people) on some type of application software solution, this could be workforce management, field service management, epos, accounting software, ERP, payroll, HR, legal, MIS, fleet management, dealer management, property management solutions, education, health & safety software, bookings & events, hotel software, or anything else that is a business software application.
Salary to £35k + £5k car allowance, bonus, private healthcare, 5 weeks holiday plus a day off on your birthday, and a reward incentive scheme. You must be willing to travel throughout the UK, 2 to 3 days a week, and occasionally overseas to Europe and the Middle East.
The innovative cloud software that this solutions house builds and implements, is very intuitive and user friendly; it is an MIS solution, with an element of accounting to it, and it has a variety of modules including payroll, HR, on-line billing, etc. It has been completely redeveloped and is now much easier to learn and work with, and clients love it. It is currently being used in over 40 countries around the world.
Your role will be to train their clients and users virtually (you need to know how to train remotely on camera) and face to face, and in groups or one to one. There are lots of bite sized videos on the product, and you will get involved with creating more training videos and webinars, and writing workbooks and manuals, and adapting them specifically to a client's needs.
They have a software implementation team, so you don't need to be a techie, but an interest in technology and software is vital if you are to have passion for the product.
It goes without saying that you need to be well organised, and self-motivated to work from home full time, (one day a month in the office for a company meeting) and you have a good workspace at home where you can conduct live video training.
Brilliant role for someone who is passionate about software training, wants to have a lot of autonomy, and is keen to do some travelling.
