- Description
Microsoft D365 Business Central / Dynamics NAV Support Consultant role; this is to join a busy Microsoft Partner, established for over 35 years, who sell a wide variety of ERP and CRM business solutions, both on premise and in the cloud. They are a very well-respected long standing software reseller with a family feel.
Experience of supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and / or Dynamics NAV is essential, as they want someone who can hit the ground running. Salary to £45k negotiable.
You can work from home or in the office, or mix it up - but they would like you to be in the office a few times in the early stages to get to know everyone and learn the ropes. They cover all areas of Business Central / NAV including finance, order processing, warehouse management, manufacturing, sales & marketing, purchasing and project management, so there is plenty to learn and keep you busy.
They are looking for an enthusiastic, communicative, bright candidate who builds good relationships with customers and who is capable of troubleshooting to a high standard, diagnosing & debugging the software, and testing the fixes. Knowledge of the finance and accounting modules is highly desirable.
Background needed for this role:
- 2 years + experience in Application Support and at least a year working in support with Dynamics NAV and or D365 Business Central, at an end user or a reseller or consultancy
- Some knowledge of the finance side would be very beneficial (accounts, ledgers, double entry bookkeeping) or an accounts qualification such as AAT
- Really good communication skills, you will be talking to clients daily on the phone and liaising with the developers and implementation consultants
- You are an easy fit for a busy, lively team, and can take the pressure when the heat is on
- Great problem solver, you leave no stone unturned to find a solution
- Sympathetic when dealing with non-technical people who don't understand the software
- Accustomed to documenting your cases thoroughly to add to the knowledge base, and product info
- You are not a clock watcher and put the extra in when required
