This Telesales / Lead Gen sales role will rapidly lead to a career in field sales for the right person. It is 50% lead generation and cold calling and 50% chasing existing leads, and then discovering if the client has the budget, the opportunity, and the right to buy soon. From there, you will be booking clients in for a Zoom call with the ERP software salesman, for 15 minutes.
So, in a nutshell, your role is to qualify the leads, make the first connection, and book the client in for a chat with the field salesperson. He is a legend in the industry, and you will learn a huge amount from him about the ERP product, and about the ins and outs of professional software selling.
You will have the advantage of being provided with about 50% of your leads as they get a lot of leads from Select ERP, their own website and from client referrals.
Your background:
You need experience of telesales and lead generation in the IT sector and will have real interest in application software and especially in business software. You are hungry and ambitious, with a professional attitude, tenacity, curiosity, and an analytical mind, and you are patient, persuasive and persistent.
Skilled at researching your target market, you are brilliant at prospecting, qualifying, and generating new leads, and using your B2B telemarketing expertise to find new prospects, warming them up, and transferring promising leads to the salesman where he will seal the deal.
The job is fully remote, so you can work from home anywhere in the UK, with a base salary to £40k plus around £10k commission to start.
