- Description
This Yardi Voyager role is with a prestigious public listed property investment company who have been in the real estate business for nearly 50 years and have commercial & residential investments in 7 countries.
They need a savvy Yardi Systems Administrator or Systems Analyst to oversee their team of 5 Yardi people looking after the European side of the business (this team are not London based so it is remote management), look after the complex issues, analyse problems, recommend further system enhancements, and take care of the database, and who can flourish in a multi-faceted role.
Salary is negotiable, but probably up to around £70k + benefits. You must be happy working in the office 4 days a week, with one home-based day per week - beautiful, prestigious central London offices.
You need to have significant Yardi Voyager skills, in a systems admin, or analyst role, and be capable of dealing with the more complex second line issues with the system. First line support is supplied by an outsourced support team, and part of your job will be to oversee and manage that team, plus manage the remote support people, the relationship with Yardi, and maintain and manage the database.
They need someone who is analytical, has strong Excel skills, and loves technology. With a high content of finance users, some accounting knowledge would be very useful, and basic SQL skills are a must. The company uses many of the popular Yardi modules including residentials, commercials, construction and PAYscan, and they are currently rolling out RentCafé across the business.
So you need a strong understanding of Yardi processes and systems, and will be capable of maintaining and managing their database, doing system amendments, looking at second line technical issues and testing functionality and fixes, keeping an eye on changes and requests, researching and recommending further enhancements to the system and new Yardi features that will help grow the company, and training and supporting the Yardi users (they have around 230 active Yardi users).
You are friendly, professional, and collaborative, and someone who can turn their hand to most things and come up with new ideas to improve system use and return on investment. You like technical problems but can also look at the business side and find ways to make systems enhancements and changes that will benefit the business.
If you have the Yardi skills needed, and this has whetted your appetite, get in touch with Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing.
