Description

ERP Solution Sales role, to sell Sage X3, fully remote, based anywhere in the UK. They are looking for a versatile and hungry ERP business development professional with broad-based expertise, proven skills at all levels of business development, and brilliant at building strategic relationships. Base salary to £60k plus car allowance, medical and life insurance, with a realistic OTE of £80-£85k first year, and £90-£100k second year (uncapped).

The role is with an award-winning Sage X3 Business Partner, a thriving reseller who provide a complete end-to-end solution for the Sage X3 product suite internationally. They have grown to 20 people, and amazingly, over the last 15 years they have not lost any member of their team, which is proof of their great working environment and their motto of looking after their staff and promoting from within. Plus, they have only ever lost one client to another reseller; that speaks for itself as to the level of service they provide to their customers. They have grown essentially, through their excellent reputation, and will continue to do so.

They have hired a new marketing person who has generated 400 enquires since June this year. These leads are inevitably a mixed bag, some good and some bad but the basics of this job is to take those enquires and turn them into leads, boiling down the enquiries into fully qualified leads and taking them through the entire sales lifecycle to close of the deal.

A typical deal is 30 plus users with 100 days of consulting, which is worth about £7k in commission, and the target is 2 or 3 deals in your first year. Then 4-6 deals in the second year, so you should be earning £90-£100k in your second year. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will develop the lead opportunities, build solution-led bid strategies, manage the complete sales cycles and secure new logo customer wins against very achievable targets.

You will be a hungry ERP sales professional who enjoys new business sales. The aim is to target mainly manufacturing companies in the UK, (which is now very much a growing business sector because of Brexit and China), plus some distribution and service clients.

This job is all about closing the deals, you will not have to do marketing, account management or credit control!

They are looking for an ambitious bright spark, with at least 3 years success in selling some type of ERP or business management software solution, who really understands the processes and requirements of businesses and how these requirements can be managed by the solution, bringing excellent returns for the client. You are confident, self-motivated, a stickler for documenting your CRM and doing your follow ups, and accustomed to working diligently in a home-based work environment. You build professional relationships with your customers, and your tenacity shines through in pursuing these relationships to close of deal.
