The job
Projects are meaty and if you're looking to move across to MS Dynamics products and the world of ERP, this is a good opportunity. PM's are home based, so you could be living anywhere in the UK so long as you are happy being based remotely. You will probably be on client site one day a week. You may be a ERP Project Manager with a couple of years' experience, or someone who has been around the block for several years - so the salary range is open from £45k to £65k, plus car allowance, and bonus.
Your experience
It is essential that you have worked for a software reseller or consulting firm that sells application software and that you are used to having multiple projects at once.
You will understand how to allocating resource, deal with the consultants and relate to the clients' pain points, and you understand the role of a project manager in a consultancy. You will have managed the whole project life cycle from sales handover through to support hand over.
Projects are fast paced, and requirements can change at any time, so you need to be comfortable working in this type of environment. They work with a lot of manufacturing clients; the projects mostly cover manufacturing, distribution and accounting and finance and you will lead multiple projects of 60 - 150 days which will cover services, licenses, and software.
The opportunity
You will be trained in Microsoft SureStep, the Microsoft project management methodology and work with Business Central, you will join a team of other Project managers and report to a really good manager who has a lot of PM experience and knows how tough your job is.
