Simply put accountants love to buy Sage products, and the modules all work. The Implementations are straight forward and your life as account manager is easy.
Sage 200 is often bought as a pure Finance solution, but then you take over as the account manager and you have 12 different modules to sell from Manufacturing and CRM to report writing and project accounting. The clients often have no clue about the functionality available, so your job is education of your 80 clients, dealing with FD's, CFO and IT Managers explaining what else is available in the Sage 200 catalogue.
These solutions offer rock solid returns, so the clients buy them, you get commission and everyone gets to live happily ever after.
If you are an experienced ERP account manager working with products like Exchequer, Pegasus Opera, Xero, Quickbooks, Kashflow, Unit 4, Access Dimensions or Capita products this is a nice job with great returns on your effort.
They have an office day in the Midlands office every 4 weeks and a sales catch up every 2 days. You will be home based. The Management team as good folks with realistic expectations.
Basic salary is up to £50,000 with £35,000 in commission in year one
