If you are stuck on some legacy software like Financialslive or "PS Financials" or "Advanced Financials" or eFinancials or "Business Cloud Essentials" or "iris financials" or "Kerridge K8" or "Kerridge Babbage" this is your chance to cross train onto one of the big names in ERP software, with a lovely solution that offers long term employability and nice big chunky projects of 50-250 users.
Epicor Kinetic ERP cross training
Epicor is one of the top 6 ERP companies in the world (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Infor, IFS).
The product is a combination of rock solid ERP functionality going back over 20 years and new SaaS cloud architecture with all of the fancy integration you could ask for.
It has a couple of very cool features, from an accounting point of view it allows you to have any number of separate companies and you can join them together for Month end and consolidation (or something like that)
From a Manufacturing perspective is it very strong across Made to Order, Made to Stock and Engineered to Order. It has some lovely production functionality that links to the MES level.
So why would you want to cross train on it?
Epicor is a global product and for Global Manufacturing companies it is the choice, once the head office have bought it they roll it out globally and in the UK there is a constant stream of work.
Epicor is also a nice solution for a company of about 100 users for a £250K ERP Implementation
Epicor has a track record of supporting their existing customers and offering an upgrade path
Epicor has not bought 60 other ancient legacy ERP solutions and pretended re-bundled them as one. They have spent a fortune on the Kinetic and it works well and it selling really well.This job is focused on the Finance module, so you will need a background of ERP Implementation dealing with the accounting team and talking about how they want their accounts set up.
