Implementation Consultant

Are you interested in a very varied Sage X3 role? We have a new job with a fast growing Sage X3 Consultancy who have just landed a massive contract in the UK. The first part of the role is to give first class support to 160 existing users on Sage X3. Then the second part of the job will be to roll out Sage X3 implementations to 40 new UK branches of the client's business and 1,000 additional users, across the UK. Base salary to £60k + car allowance.

So they need a very strong functional Sage X3 Consultant with good manufacturing & distribution, who can provide stunning quality Application Support & triage for the first 3-6 months (and be happy doing this first). You will probably be over qualified to do the initial support part of the job, but this is such a big new client win for them, that they need a super experienced Sage X3 Consultant to "own the entire project" from day one, first on the support side, and then moving on to nationwide Sage X3 implementation when that kicks off.

During the Application Support phase you will be gaining the trust of their new client company, and building the relationship for the future implementations.

The position is home based, (Birmingham is just a pinpoint) with a bit more travel later as you will have to visit some of the company's manufacturing sites, when the X3 roll out starts. You would be joining a European Sage X3 business partner (they have had platinum X status for 2 years running). UK head office is centrally located in the Midlands, and you would need to go in to the office about once a month.

Their new client company win is a manufacturing & distribution business with about 160 existing users on Sage X3 v11. They have just acquired another big manufacturing business that has an additional 40 locations in the UK, all of which will need a Sage X3 implementation in the future. So over the next 12 months, this business will grow to around 1,000 users on Sage X3. They are producing about 100,000 invoices per month currently, which will also grow.

You will be a top notch Sage X3 Consultant with strong manufacturing & distribution who can initially support the existing set up and Sage integration to Infopos (Point of Sales), Datalink and V1 - the client has application support contracts in place for these products, so they won't be your responsibility. And then you will own the functional consulting, business processes and requirements, configuration and full implementation work for the nationwide Sage X3 roll out.

This is about providing a stunning level of Sage X3 Support initially, to ensure the manufacturing company goes ahead in 6 - 9 months' time, with the full 40 site implementations, which will be a 1000 days of consulting work over a two year period.
