Fabulous opportunity for a Sage 1000 Support Consultant who has the potential to become the overall Support Manager for this thriving software reseller in Hertfordshire. They are looking for a candidate with strong support experience of a variety of the Sage 1000 modules, who has good leadership, mentoring and client service skills and is keen to move into a management role. Salary to £45k plus benefits.
The company is well located near the M1 and commutable from a range of areas in Bucks, Beds, Herts and North London. They are a successful reseller of a number of the Sage accounting and ERP solutions including Sage 1000, Sage ERP X3, Sage 200 and Sage CRM and have been in business for more than 20 years. They provide a high level of customer service to their client base, always aiming to exceed client expectations and constantly look for ways in which they can help clients get more value from their business applications.
Your role will initially involve providing high level Application Support to their Sage 1000 ERP customers dealing with support requests, troubleshooting, working with application issues, resolving problems and logging and documenting Sage 1000 queries. You should be confident dealing with queue management and prioritisation and adhering to SLA's.
You will need to learn the other Sage ERP and accounting solutions that they provide, and from there you will be expected to take a lead role in the team with the prospect of growing into the role of overall Support Manager for all their Sage applications.
They are looking for an experienced Application Support Consultant with proven Sage 1000 support experience, excellent problem solving and organisational skills and ideally some experience of mentoring, managing or training other staff. This is a small software company, so you should be willing to go the extra mile, and what you do here is noticed, recognised and makes a difference.
Ideally you will be currently working for another Sage 1000 reseller, or you might be supporting Sage 1000 in an internal role with an end user company - or perhaps you have been in a software implementation role and would now like a role without the travel.
