- Description
ERP Support Consultant or Accounting Software Support Consultant to work for a thriving software company based in Ringwood in the New Forest. They have a small, very happy and stable Application Support team, so positions rarely become available here. Salary around the £25-30k mark (top end requires strong ERP support experience).
This Application Support role is focused on a functionally rich ERP solution. It sells especially well in the mid-market sector and covers stock control, manufacturing, finance, project accounting, distribution, job costing, bill of materials, HR, CRM, web and many more ERP modules. It was designed as a new generation of ERP product and from a user perspective it is much richer with amazing reporting and dash boarding functions, plus the reporting is superb. Companies often buy this solution because it does the ERP bit well, but all the reporting is already available. Typical clients would have between 30 and 100 users for you to support.
Your job will be to give telephone, email and remote support to the clients across all the modules; you will work alongside a very experienced Senior Support Consultant who is due to retire in a few years, so this is a great opportunity for you to learn and take on more and more responsibility and clients over a longer period.
You will take support calls and receive emails for queries about the ERP software, go through client issues, training or problem solving, login remotely to client sites, log and update your records, and escalate problems where necessary to the developers, management or the software vendor.
You will need previous experience of supporting ERP or accounting software either from a software reseller, vendor or internal end user role, and you will be an outgoing, friendly individual with good communication and problem solving skills who fits in well in a small team environment.
This is a very successful, small, well managed software company (the Directors are great guys - knowledgeable and approachable) where you can really make your mark and the effort you put in will be recognised and rewarded. People are very happy working here; it's a good environment and the ERP product they sell is superb.
