- Description
Software Implementation Consultant / Professional Services Consultant with experience of implementing WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) to work for an innovative and successful software consultancy based near Birmingham. Realistically you need to live within 60-90 minutes' drive of the Birmingham / Coventry area as you will be spending some time in the office as well as being out on client site. Salary range from £35-45k depending on experience plus car allowance.
This software consulting firm has been in business for over 25 years and they focus on Warehouse Management, Supply Chain and Logistics Management Software that integrates with ERP solutions. It covers good received, picking, despatch management, load and route planning, order processing, inventory, ecommerce, dashboards and back office systems. They are authors of their own software which is delivered both on premise and in the Cloud as a SaaS model.
They are looking for an additional Implementation Consultant or Professional Services Consultant with WMS software implementation experience, to work on client sites in the UK, dealing with large scale software implementations, and focused on the functional aspects of the projects. You will manage and co-ordinate multiple WMS project implementations, document 'as is' and 'to be' processes, gather and document functional requirements, configure the software to meet clients' needs, migrate the data from legacy systems, implement the WMS software and train the users.
You will work with large companies who typically have multiple warehouses and often 100,000's of different products; they are dealing with huge quantities of deliveries and the throughput of products through the supply chain is remarkable. So you need to have strong WMS software implementation experience.
You need solid experience as a WMS Consultant, or an Implementation Consultant, Applications Consultant or Professional Services Consultant working with Warehouse Management Systems, and the ability to succeed in a complex, busy and varied client facing environment.
This is an impressive and vibrant company with further growth plans and they will give you every opportunity to seriously progress your career. People like the ethos here, the variety of projects, the energy and passion and the level of responsibility that they are given.
