Application Support Consultant, Part-Time 3 days a week for ERP, Accounting / Rentals / Lettings / Facilities Management / Asset Management Software, office based role near Gloucester working as part of a small team of Application Support Consultants, Implementation Consultants and Software Developers.
Starting salary is based on the type of software you have supported and how much training they will have to give you, and will range from £24 - 30k, pro-rata for 3 days a week, with 5 weeks' holiday and flexible hours.
This specialist software consultancy is very successful and a highly regarded and financially stable company who develop and sell their own integrated ERP and business software for a specialist market. This is fully modular software, built on SQL and encompasses accounting, tenants, planning, energy, unit pricing, job costing, investments, document management, fixed assets, income analysis, insurance, maintenance and facilities management. It is a flexible and comprehensive software solution, and a very interesting product to work with and to support.
What do they want? An enthusiastic, bright Application Support Consultant / Software Support Analyst with some 1st Line application support experience and there are a wide variety of backgrounds that would be a good match:
- EITHER - commercial ERP or Accounting Software Support skills gained with solutions such as Sage 200, UNIT4, Greentree, Coda Dream, Dynamics NAV, Sage 1000, Pegasus Opera, Dynamics GP, SunSystems, Access Accounts, SAP Business One, Iris Exchequer, Epicor, Oracle eFinancials or similar
- OR - other Application Software Support that is relevant to their market such as Dealer Management, Estate Agency, Automotive, Asset Management, Facilities Management or similar
- OR - previous experience supporting Property Management / Business / Construction Software such as Qube, Propman, Sage Property, Tramps, COINS, BlueBox, Manhattan Atrium, Rentman, Blueqube, Horizon, WinMan, Yardi, Vebra or similar
- MS office skills are a must and knowledge of SQL would be useful
- Someone with integrity, who loves learning, is client focused, hard-working, motivated and a good team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
You will be comfortable talking to all levels of people, and supporting clients on the telephone, by email and by remote connection and TeamViewer. You need to understand business, document and log calls and enquiries, aim to hit your SLA's and be patient and understanding. They are looking for someone who is proactive, takes time to listen to their clients, and loves solving problems. You are enthusiastic about software support and giving your clients an excellent customer experience.
