Finance / Accounting Software Implementation Consultant for ERP solution projects; you will get structured cross training to Sage ERP X3, a mid to large range ERP system, and one of the most in demand skills. Training course places are already booked for next year to enable you to become a fully certified Sage ERP X3 Consultant.

Strong experience of implementing accounting / finance software solutions, working for a reseller, software vendor or software consultancy is essential. Formal accounting qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA or FCCA are required or if you are a QBE accountant, qualified or part-qualified, this would also be considered. So this role is for a software consultant who had a previous career or training in accountancy and finance. Starting salary to £50k plus £6k car allowance and full benefits including life assurance, shopping discounts, childcare vouchers, pension, laptop and mobile.

They are looking for someone who has spent 5 - 10 years or more working with finance systems doing full life cycle implementations of accounting software. Ideally you will have worked with a range of different solutions such as Coda, Infor SunSystems, Sage Line 500, UNIT4 Agresso, OpenAccounts, Dynamics NAV, PS Financials, SAP Finance, NetSuite, Epicor, Access Accounts, IFS, Intact, Dynamics GP, SAP Business One or similar.

You will be joining the most successful Sage reseller in the UK and will benefit from full external training on Sage ERP X3 at the Sage headquarters. As a Finance Implementation Consultant here, you can be based from home BUT you will need to live within a maximum commute of 60 - 90 minutes from Manchester.

You will gather and document client requirements, conduct workshops, configure the Sage ERP X3 solution to best meet these needs, manage the software implementation and data migration, hand hold and train the end users and manage expectations through the process. You will be analytical, well organised, self-motivated and have excellent interpersonal and client facing skills.

This is a solid stable job with a company that has a remarkably low staff turnover; you will work with a great team of Finance and ERP Implementation Consultants and typically you will only have to spend 2 days a week out on client site.

You will be a qualified or part qualified accountant with strong functional software consulting experience doing full software implementations of accounting / finance software.
