- Description
- This is a really good chance for a skilled Application Support Consultant who has supported clients who are using accounting or ERP software, to move into Software Implementation, Consulting and Training after 4 - 6 months. You will be joining an existing team working with 300 accounting software clients; the calls and queries are very varied and you will have lots of interesting people to deal with. Starting salary from £26 - 32,000 plus bonus, plus car allowance (once you have become an Implementation Consultant). The company is a well-regarded reseller of business accounting solutions and the software that they sell includes modules like finance, ledgers, payroll, document management, HR, and construction. The first 4 weeks after joining, will involve a lot of software product training and you will need to go to the software vendors Headquarters in Northamptonshire. Once you are up to speed with their software, you will join the support desk located in Colchester in Essex and will be office based initially. By month 4 you will start visiting clients alongside a Senior Implementation Consultant doing software upgrades and training, and by month 5 you will be doing some consultancy, upgrades and training out on your own. So this is a chance to progress your career very quickly to a full blown consulting and software implementation role. A new version of their accounting software is about to be released, so the product you will be working with is undergoing development and enhancement and has a healthy life ahead of it. They are looking for a motivated candidate to perform telephone, email and remote support to their accounting software customers, recording all contacts on the CRM system, and representing the company professionally. Good communication and problem solving skills are a must and you should be able organise your workload, escalate problems to the software vendor where needed, and provide high quality solutions and feedback to your clients. You should also be ambitious and looking to move into software installation and training. Your accounting software support knowledge will have been gained working with a main stream mid-range product such as Sage 200, Dynamics NAV, Access Dimensions, UNIT 4 Agresso, Pegasus Opera, de Facto, Dynamics GP, Sage L500, SAP Business One, Coda, Exchequer, Pinewood, Kerridge, OpenAccounts or similar. If you fit the bill and would like to fast track your career from Support into Implementation and Consulting, apply now, Contact Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing.
