- Description
Sap Business One Consultant or ERP Consultant to move across to SAP B1 - new role for an enthusiastic Software Implementation Consultant to join a thriving consultancy who focus solely on SAP Business One, the mid-range ERP solution from the software giant, SAP. Salary to £40k plus £4k car allowance, 5 weeks' holiday, laptop and mobile.
The company grew by over 30% last year; they are really going places in their ERP market and expect to grow by another 10-20% this year. They offer solid career progression and opportunity to work with a bright, enthusiastic and busy team of SAP Business One Consultants, Project Managers, SDK Developers, Technical Consultants and Support staff - this is a lively buzzing place to work.
They are looking for an additional SAP Business One Consultant with existing SAP Business One implementation skills or a local ERP Software Consultant to cross train to SAP B1. Ideally you will live within an hour's drive of the Manchester area, but if you are an experienced SAP Business One Consultant, you could work from home (within 3 hours drive of Manchester) and come into the office once a week.
The requirement is for someone who has ideally worked for a software reseller or software vendor but if you already have SAP Business One skills they are happy to consider SAP Business One candidates who have worked at end user sites on internal software implementation. If you also have Crystal Reports and / or SQL skills, this would be an added bonus.
However, if you work on another ERP product, then you will need to have worked for a reseller or vendor in a client facing role. You will have experience of the full life cycle of the implementation of ERP software or SAP Business One software, you can manage your own projects, have a proven track record in ERP, and can help the pre-sales team with software demos where necessary.
It is important to be able to manage the client, in terms of requirements, business processes and expectations. Every client thinks their business is unique and as an Implementation Consultant you need to help steer them into as much standard functionality as possible and reduce the amount of bespoke work. This means that you will need to help them see the benefits of changing their internal business processes. Previous experience of this process is critical to the role. However, where software changes are essential, they have a strong team of developers who can tailor the solution to fit.
So you will have experience talking to external clients, getting their requirements, analysing and managing the gap fit between the software solution and the client's needs, managing the change, migrating the data, implementing the ERP software and training the users.
You will work with a busy team of SAP Business One Consultants on a range of modules:
- Manufacturing
- Finance
- Distribution
- Warehousing
- Payroll
- Job Costing
- Business Intelligence
You will be happy talking to finance teams and understand the importance of SOP and POP within a business environment. Why work here?
- They are profitable, successful, well run and people are happy
- They have very low staff turnover
- Wide variety of projects
- A chance to work on all the ERP software modules
- Good career progression
