- Description
New role for a Project Administrator for a fabulous software company. They are looking for a switched on, well organised person with strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills and strong administrative experience, who has (ideally) worked for an IT software company and understands the roles that are played by the project co-ordinators and project managers.
You need good documentation skills and will be capable of looking after bookings, contracts, work orders, project reporting and monthly reports and will be looking for a career where you can eventually become a Project Co-ordinator or Project Manager. Starting salary from £23 - 26k based on your skills, plus life assurance, 5 weeks' holiday and good pension scheme.
This position is to work for a leading IT software company who specialise in ERP and CRM business software solutions. They are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with strong administration and Microsoft Office skills to fulfil a role supporting their team of busy IT Project Managers and Project Co-Ordinators, and ensuring their work is carried out to deadline and within budgets.
You will use your planning and organisation skills to provide administrative and office support for the project management team, track progress and set up new projects in line with procedures.
Join a world class software company, with a 25-year track record, over 1000 clients and a great working environment where they have managed to get the balance just right. They value their staff very highly and will develop and nurture you to ensure that you get job satisfaction and reach your potential.
You will help to organise projects and act as liaison between the Project Management team and their clients, arranging diaries, booking meetings, and scheduling work for consultants or contract staff. You will produce standard project and bookings documents from templates, and manage their sub-contractors' bookings.
You will provide accurate reports and maintain a database, and co-ordinate project documentation on behalf of the project management team. Along with your administrative skills, you need an excellent command of written and spoken English (for documentation and liaising with clients on the telephone to arrange meetings) and good attention to detail.
You will have a high level of accuracy, and will be able to prioritise your work and meet deadlines. If you have any experience of working in a similar role for an IT software company or a software vendor or reseller, this would be a bonus.
There are excellent opportunities to move into a Junior Project Management role in the future, or into Project Co-ordination. There is a very good vibe here, the company is professional but has got the balance just right in terms of the environment, the management team, the prospects and the social side of work. People love working here.
This job is with an extraordinarily successful company and offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits and career progression - it's a super opportunity for the right candidate.
