Description

ERP Software Implementation Consultant for the Midlands area - this is a great company, with a great ERP product, and a great management team - their Consulting Director is an ace guy and one of our favourite clients to work with. If you are working somewhere where you are bored, or overworked, or unrecognised, or unrewarded then a move here will solve your problems. Nice people, a happy environment, lots of investment in your development and lots of autonomy. They are happy to pay up to £45k for an experienced ERP Consultant or around £30-35k if you have only recently moved in to ERP consulting and software implementation, plus a £5k car allowance and 5 weeks holiday.

This software reseller has been hugely successful selling this web based ERP solution into the SME space. Initially the product sold well at the 5-10 user end of the market, however, with increased functionality and a full SQL Server and .Net back end, the product now works comfortably for up to 100 users. An average deal is around 30-50 users and 30-40 days of consultancy work. They are growing fast and career opportunities will be excellent.

As a hands-on functional ERP Implementation Consultant, you will be working with your clients across many departments including accounting, warehousing & distribution, ecommerce, CRM and sales & marketing. You need to be able to gather clients' requirements and understand their business processes through workshops and meetings, talk to them about what processes are easy to fit to their needs, and what needs to change through development of the software or through a change in their business process. So you will be having detailed business discussions about how their company operates and the best way to get the ERP solution working and delivering benefit to them.

Therefore, they are looking for an ERP Implementation Consultant who can work with clients through the whole process doing the business requirements, configuration, data migration, go-live, training and support. If you have implemented web based, or cloud software solutions you will be up and running very quickly, but if you have only worked with on premise ERP software, then you will need experience of SQL (scripting and queries) as well, otherwise you might struggle.

You will work with many aspects of ERP software such as sales order processing, purchase orders, inventory control, e-commerce, web trading, supply chain, BI, accounts, CRM and dashboards, so you will have a lot to learn and get your teeth into.

You will shadow a Senior ERP Consultant at first to become familiar with the software. From there you will quickly progress as an ERP Consultant, taking on your own projects and working through the entire software implementation and consulting process. A lot of your projects will be in the Midlands or the north as they have offices covering the south and the west and you must be happy being out on client sites 3-4 days a week.

Ideally you will live somewhere around the Derby, Nottingham, Birmingham, Leicester, Coventry, Peterborough or Northampton areas. You can work from home some of the time if you want to, and will be out on client sites in the Midlands or the north, with some days in the office.

They want someone with lots of enthusiasm, passion for ERP software, a professional, client facing approach, who builds positive relationships with colleagues and clients. This is a great job working with a great cloud ERP product, where you will get plenty of autonomy as well as team based projects.

If you would like to know more about this brilliant ERP Software Implementation and Consulting role, please contact Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing as soon as possible.
