Description

Software Sales Executive, for new business consultative sales of a full ERP business solutions, office or home based with travel to client sites. This is a career sales role for someone who sees the benefits of building a strong loyal client base over a number of years graft, which will then reap you many long term rewards as the business will come in to you in the future. Base salary anywhere from £30 - 45k depending on your level of experience, with a double OTE and £5k car allowance.

They sell a well-regarded flexible and highly configurable ERP solution (Cloud and Desktop) for the mid-market which has many modules including accounting, distribution, inventory control, pricing, order processing, pricing, bill of materials, warehousing, CRM and sales.

The real chance is the opportunity to sell, month in and month out, due to the great team around you. This is a professional ERP software company, well organised with a slick sales process. You will have a team of marketing, consulting and pre-sales people to call on and everyone works together for a common aim. Deal sizes are anywhere from £40k - £200k with an average of 10 - 50 users.

The Sales Director is a vibrant, enthusiastic and knowledgeable guy who is a good coach and mentor.

About you:

  • You are a New Business Software Sales Executive or Business Development Manager, with a track record of grafting and happy to do the leg work to do your deals. You are at ease conducting meetings with MD's and FD's and other directors and talking about their pain points, their processes and really relating to your clients' needs. You think on your feet, and of course you need to know when to close.
  • You must be happy to do lead generation, open minded about picking the phone up yourself, creating email campaigns and generating opportunities for yourself. And you see the long-term benefit of staying with your employer and being a career sales person - you are not a job hopper.
  • You have a track record selling software applications like ERP or Accounting Software (Epicor, Sage 200, Greentree, Dynamics NAV, UNIT4, Intuit, Coda, NetSuite, SAP Business One, Dynamics AX, SAP Business ByDesign or Business One, Protean, JDE, Infor) or Construction, Property or DMS Software (COINS, Tramps, Yardi, TopUp, Reapit, Hexagon, Kerridge, Pinewood, Autoline) or other application software such as legal, insurance, payroll or pensions software.
  • You are a relationship builder with rapport and excellent interpersonal skills

You can be office or home based and will have to go into their offices near Aylesbury 2 to 3 times a month, plus the usual travel to client sites.
