Description

This is a very good opportunity for an Application Support Analyst, or 1st Line Support Consultant with ERP, CRM, Accounting or similar application software support experience, to join an expanding software reseller and work with some of the latest technology, including cloud software. The company will invest in plenty of training to get you familiar with their software.

Career progression is excellent and you can move into software implementation, project management, software sales or software development in the future. There is a wide salary range on offer, from £23 - £28k depending on your level of experience, with regular salary reviews and a good benefits package.

They are looking for someone who is bright, enthusiastic and keen to progress in software support. You need excellent communication, attention to detail and problem-solving skills. As an Application Support Consultant, you will take incoming software queries by telephone, email and live chat and will endeavour to find solutions to your clients' queries as efficiently as you can, while remaining calm under pressure, and escalating problems to 2nd Line or to the software vendor where necessary. You will work with a variety of application software including ERP, accounting software, CRM software, Office 365, construction software and payroll software.

Many people have been with the company for more than 10 years, which reflects how well they treat their staff, ensure that they get job satisfaction and develop their careers.

Ideally you will have supported application software such as ERP, accounting, finance or CRM solutions. But they are happy to consider most other types of application software skills such as property management software, dealer management software, legal or payroll software, time & attendance, service management software, construction software and others. Additionally, knowledge of SQL and / or Excel will be useful. They are also happy to look at systems administrators who have worked with this type of application software and are looking to move into a 1st Line Support role.

This is a small, award winning company of around 25 employees, with a 30 year track record and a friendly, welcoming environment. They are located in a small town setting around 10 miles east of York, between Goole, York and Hull. You would need to have your own transport and driving license to get to this location, and you will be office based.
