Project Manager (Software) with ERP, Supply Chain and / or Finance software and consultancy, reseller or vendor experience - work for a progressive software company on the Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire borders working with a leading mid-market ERP solution. To £50k plus car allowance and private health care.
This successful provider of an end to end software solution covering ERP, Supply Chain and Accounting has demonstrated consistent growth and focuses on one ERP solution (cloud and on-premise) providing a new level of leverage within the marketplace. This is a great company to work for. They have managed to achieve just the right balance; everyone is supportive and friendly, but they are professional and ethical and progressive.
They have a well-defined strategy in place and a need has been identified for a customer focused, people orientated Project Manager with first class project management skills, project management methodologies (Prince II ideal or similar) and a strong background in ERP, Finance and / or Supply Chain software.
It is essential that you have a good understanding of business processes and have previous experience project managing and delivering software solutions to external clients. Typical projects can be anything from smaller 30 days, up to large, complex projects of 300+ man days.
As the main point of contact with their clients, you will manage multiple projects, agree project objectives, book resources, schedule workloads, carry out risk assessments, manage the clients' pain points, manage project creep, and find the commercial balance between customer satisfaction and getting the project finished on time and to budget.
They are looking for someone who is pragmatic, has enthusiasm, good organisational skills, is customer & quality focused, able to have the difficult conversations where required, who is a good team manager and can motivate people, and can create the right environment to ensure successful software implementation.
