Application Support Consultant, Accounting or ERP Software

We are looking for an Application Support Consultant / Support Analyst with ERP software or Accounting software support skills for a software reseller near Harrogate and Wetherby in Yorkshire. Work with a dynamic, busy, friendly team of Support Analysts and Implementation Consultants, and great prospects for moving into consultancy, training, project management or software implementation in the future. Starting salary from £24 - 28k depending on your level of experience.

This software company is a privately-owned business, started some 20 years ago with around 30 staff. They specialise in ERP and accounting software built on .Net and SQL Server, as well as CRM software, Business Intelligence and Timesheet, Expenses & Billing applications. Clients are very diverse from food & drinks companies, to manufacturing, professional services, charities, distribution and finance.

So the support emails and calls are varied and interesting, and the team are upbeat and motivated - it's a good environment to work in. The applications support team work on answering support telephone calls and get a lot of support tickets through the online portal. You will log and track calls and emails, find solutions to clients' enquiries by remote log in, problem solving or escalation to the vendor and provide a great service to your clients.

They are looking for a confident, articulate and friendly Application Support Consultant and you need to have previous experience supporting ERP or accounting / finance software. If you also have some technical skills with SQL or any database experience that would be a big help too. If not, you will learn SQL maintenance and report writing to progress your career. The Support Manager is a great guy to work for, extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

This is an office based Application Support role working 9 - 5 in a great team, where you will have plenty to learn and very good career prospects. The office is in a rural location near Harrogate, York, Ripon and Wetherby so you will need to have a driving license and car to get there. Free parking is on-site.
