Description

Syspro Consultant, Syspro Project Manager with manufacturing, engineering or supply chain experience for an internal role implementing Syspro ERP for a forward thinking multi-site global company who are leaders in their field. This is based near Yeovil and Crewkerne in Somerset (in stunning surroundings) with around 40% travel within the UK and USA. Negotiable salary to £80,000 (accommodation can be provided if required).

This Plc company has a history spanning 50 years, designing, engineering and manufacturing highly specialist industrial and life sciences products with unique materials and components. So the business environment here is engineering and process, manufacturing, product management, warehousing and supply chain, quality assurance and compliance as well as finance, and global marketing & sales.

They have a dozen offices in the UK and the USA and have grown both organically and through diversification and acquisition and they turn over around £60 million per annum. They make heavy investment in research and development, they employ a strong sales team operating nationally and internationally and a large number of mechanical engineers and software engineers.

The role is to act as Project Manager and Consultant, re-implementing Syspro ERP across all their UK and USA sites. Their Syspro ERP solution needs to be improved and applied across the company and their sites need to be aligned and streamlined. So you will need to talk to stakeholders at all levels in the company to redefine and reengineer the business processes and reconfigure the software, ensuring that it is being used to its full potential and that there is a companywide ERP template for the whole global group. Additional modules may need to be added.

You will prepare and document whatever functional specifications are needed, manage the planning and control the various stages of the group implementations focusing on delivering to agreed budgets, as well as coaching the business team in ways of working and best practice. So you need previous project management and leadership skills as well as Syspro ERP implementation experience gained in a manufacturing, engineering or supply chain environment.

They are looking for someone who is really tuned in to Syspro ERP and all its standard functions, and understands its capabilities as an ERP solution and can get down to brass tacks with it. You might be a Syspro Consultant or Project Manager or Syspro Systems Manager; whatever your job title you will have a strong background in ERP implementation, project management and leadership, you can manage the pain points and you are passionate about Syspro!

You will be analytical, personable and dependable, you can multi-task and you do what you say.

You will report to the Executive Board but will be led and assisted by the VP of Supply Chain and the VP of Finance. Salary is negotiable to around £80,000 and the initial tenure will be for a year, which may be extended. If you don't currently live within commuting distance of the head office near Yeovil, they can supply paid accommodation, subsistence allowance and other expenses, if you want to move there full time, or you want to live there from Monday - Friday.

If you are the Syspro person for this role, please contact Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing or drop us a copy of your CV as soon as you can.
