Description

ERP Software Implementation Consultant for a super role with a software author based near Birmingham, who will invest in your development and ongoing training. They are looking for someone who is focused, energetic, motivated and keen to progress. Salary from £35k to £40k (depending on your level of experience) plus car allowance and benefits.

The team is very busy; their workload and order book is increasing and they are looking to take on a 6th Implementation Consultant. They are passionate about manufacturing and the benefits that ERP solutions bring to this market, and in 20 years have built a great software business with an office in the UK and one overseas. They are still a small (40 people) owner managed, private business and this is a place where you can really make a difference.

They are looking for an enthusiastic ERP (or similar software such as DMS, construction software or property software) Implementation Consultant who can work onsite with their customers to understand their business processes and requirements, run workshops, configure and implement the software and deliver training to the users after go-live, and who has good functional consulting experience. So after you have trained up in their ERP software, this will be a full life cycle consulting role, which will involve the usual travel to client sites, office days and some admin days at home.

Their software is developed inhouse with the latest .Net and SQL Server technology and covers many areas including supply chain, manufacturing, distribution, WMS, production management, CRM, HR, accounting, BI, service management and eCommerce and can also be used as an app on handhelds. So there is lots to learn and get your teeth into.

Once you are up and running you will work on projects from start to finish and be your own project manager, they are moving to a model of 2 consultants on each project and each consultant focused on some of the modules.

They are also happy to work with a more junior ERP consultant who has worked on some implementation projects and who can grow into a full consultant over time. They have a mentoring, shadowing and training program for their staff. Plus, in this job you will work with the consulting director who has a brilliant understanding of the implementation role and how to get projects working well. He will be your main mentor and he is a really good guy.

This is the type of environment where you will take on more and more responsibility and grow your software consulting experience constantly, so it's a very good step forward.

You are someone who works well under pressure, has good functional consulting skills, builds strong relationships with your clients, has a calm approach and a confident personality and is happiest in a small to mid-sized software consultancy where you really count. This is a dynamic software company that has built a great business and has some excellent clients on board, is professional and profitable and run by a superb management team.

Any additional experience implementing software into the manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or warehousing sectors would all be a bonus.
