ERP & Finance Consultant, UK based, extensive Ireland travel

ERP Consultant with at least 5 years' working with mid-market ERP solutions and strong finance expertise, to implement Epicor solutions in the UK and Ireland. Home based anywhere in the UK with expenses and fuel paid from your door. To £50k with car allowance, utilisation bonus, laptop and mobile.

This is a job for a Senior level ERP Consultant to take the lead on mid-sized ERP software implementation projects. You will initially work on projects of 25 to 50 users that are typically 100 to 200 days of consulting, moving on to larger projects. Strong finance is essential; you should be able to run functional workshops across the finance areas of ERP, identify the gaps and configure and set up the finance modules.

Your role will be to take the client from the sales process, (they have separate Pre-Sales Consultants), do the discovery and make sure the scope is on point. Then you will liaise with different consultants to do parts of the software implementation and you will do parts of it yourself. A typically project will cover:

• Finance
• Distribution
• Manufacturing

You would do at least one module yourself and be the project lead / project manager on the other modules. You will be confident in your project ability, so that you can manage other consultants with a light touch when needed, as some of these consultants are highly skilled and need only minimal direction.

You will have strong hands on ERP software implementation experience and particularly in finance & accounting; you happy to talk about setting up the chart of accounts and P&L and are hands on with AP, AR, General Ledger, and fixed assets etc. You will also have done at least one implementation on either the distribution or manufacturing modules of an ERP solution, and you need to understand these sectors as this is their main client focus.

Over the next 18 months as the company continues to grow, this role has the potential to shift from largely consulting with some PM work to more fully a Project Management position; but it depends on your aspirations and where you would like your career to go. If you prefer to stay in a Lead Consultant role that can be accommodated too.

Proximity to any airport would be useful for travel to Ireland, and previous Epicor implementation skills would obviously be useful.
