ERP Software Support Consultant for Post Go-Live Support in Chesterfield. The consulting team here at this software company is broken down into Project Managers, Implementation Consultants ans Software Trainers and the Support team is broken down into Application Support and Post Go-Live Support. This role is to do post go-live support and hand holding for each client for two weeks after each implementation has completed. Salary to £30k.

The company sells a very successful mid-market ERP solution into a niche vertical. They do about 3 - 4 implementations per month so they are very busy and profitable.

This is the most exciting job in support. Each week (roughly) you have a new client going live; the implementation consultants and software trainers are onsite Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and on Thursday you are in the hot seat for the next two weeks with each client.

You will get lots of calls from people that are really easy to fix like the simple queries when people are unfamiliar with the software, so you will be solving a lot of problems quickly. After the first 2 weeks the clients are then switched over to the normal application support team.

You do need to have solid experience of ERP (or similar) software support to understand the clients' queries so you should be familiar with a variety of ERP modules such as sales, purchases, nominal ledger, POP, SOP and stock control. You will manage incoming calls and emails from each new client and deal with them effectively, documenting your cases.

This role is office based in Chesterfield, and the team is really friendly and fun and the directors are a very good bunch. People really like working here.
