ERP Project Manager, Warwick / Worcester area

Newly created project management role for a savvy, smart ERP Project Manager who has worked for a software reseller, software consultancy or software vendor and is great at managing the clients and their expectations. The position is office based near Warwick, some home days and with the usual travel, so ideally you live within 60-90 minutes of the Warwick, Worcester area. £40-55k plus car allowance.

This role is with a small, successful and rapidly growing ERP software reseller; they have around 20 staff, a 15-year track record of project management, software implementation and support and the 2 ERP solutions they sell, cover supply chain, wholesale, manufacturing, finance & accounting, distribution, inventory, warehousing, and sale & CRM.

They will typically have 5 - 6 projects on the go at once consisting of 1 or 2 main new projects or big upgrades, and a selection of 3 or 4 small projects. You need to be able to scope the projects, build and manage the ERP project plans, and lead the consultants ensuring they give you full support with what needs doing, and that they adhere to the project time scales.

You will manage the clients, the resources, the expectations, the reporting, the relationships and the ERP Consultants. You need to be able to complete project risk analysis and the key project milestones.

Strong ERP Project Management experience of at least 3 years is essential, working for a software reseller, vendor or consultancy in a client facing position. Being able to fight your corner, have the awkward conversations with the clients and manage people and projects in a way that you can get the best out of them and keep working with them (year after year), is essential. They are looking for someone who is driven, organised and likes a challenge.
