Technical Consultant with MS SQL Server or SQL Certification, to join an ERP and CRM software company near Dudley, who have been in the software business for over 30 years and sell and implement ERP solutions to a specialist market. Salary to £40k.
You will get involved in all the technical aspects of MS Dynamics 365 projects, which can be new installations or transition projects, and will be an active member of the project team. Communicating with your Project Manager and your clients, you will gather requirements for cloud based and on premise operating systems, communications, hardware and networking, translate these requirements into quotations, and design technical solutions to fit.
You will test and install these solutions, ensuring you properly cost your work to fit the budget, and produce system overview documents and user guides and run technical training courses where required. Using your technical knowledge, you will provide technical support to your clients on Windows, MS Office, MS SQL and SQL Server and maintain the security of the laptops, networks, servers, firewalls, virus protection, cloud services and websites.
Ideally you will already have one or more relevant certification in: Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Online Deployment, or Dynamics 365 Customization and Configuration, but as these are relatively new certifications they will provide the necessary training for you to study and complete the certifications as quickly as possible, which would bring great added value to your skill set and your future CV.
So, you will be a good all round Technical Consultant with strong IT skills, MS SQL and / or SQL Server Certification, who can see the big picture in terms of assessing requirements for an installation and finding an appropriate design solution and installing and supporting it. They want someone who is a self-starter with attention to detail, good analytical and documentation skills and a brilliant communicator.
