Application Support Consultant - Coventry

Brand-new role for an Application Support Consultant with ERP or Accounting Software expertise, or Application Support of similar software such as Legal software, Insurance software, Dealer Management software, Property Management software, Construction software, Supply Chain or Distribution software or Field Service Software.

This company is a great place to work; their Application Support and Implementation Consultants often stay here for between 5 and 10 years, which says a lot about the working environment and the rewards and appreciation you get. Starting salary of between £26 and £30k depending on your level of software support experience, plus you get a productivity bonus of around £1,500 per annum.

They have grown at a steady pace over the last 15 years and now employ around 50 people. This role is to work in their busy application support team based in Coventry; you will support their own specialist business ERP, CRM, e-commerce and order processing software solution, which integrates with off the shelf accounting software. It is sold into niche markets and is an incredibly successful product, and the clients love it. It is a fully flexible software solution built on a SQL Server back end and with easy to use Windows interfaces.

You will provide telephone, email and remote support to their niche client base where you will build good relationships with your clients and have the chance to use your problem-solving skills to their full capacity. You will help with training and testing software updates and will be the kind of person 'who gets the job done'. You will also get to work with a variety of additional software modules such as Business Intelligence, Marketing, CRM, and dashboards and hand-held mobile devices, and get involved in some client training. So, no day will ever be the same and there will be plenty for you to learn.

They are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Applications Support Consultant / Software Support Analyst who has worked with ERP, Accounting software, DMS, Insurance software, Property Management software, Construction software, Legal software, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Field Service software or something similar.

They are winning a lot of new business, and this combined with promoting one of their Application Support Consultants means that they need an additional person on the support team. You will get full cross training to their product and can either grow your career within application support and training or move into ERP software consulting and implementation in the future. They are very good at looking after their staff and making sure you reach your full potential.

They are looking for someone who is bright, enthusiastic, a good team player and wants to work for an innovative, expanding software company. You will have a background in application support working for a software reseller, vendor or internal end user. You will share your issues with other team members and learn from their knowledge, plus you will have a laugh, and you will get to enjoy the social side of being in a fun, growing and progressive company.
